Visvamitra Group was founded by Swami Ananda Saraswati in the Himalayas, the spiritual capital of the world. Swamiji began teaching Yoga and Vedanta after years of training and spiritual exploration. In addition to writing several books on self-improvement, he is the editor of the socio-cultural magazine Ama Viveka. As the founder of the Visvamitra Group, he travels all over the world to spread the knowledge of Vedanta and Yoga.
The main objective of Visvamitra Group is to spread the true knowledge of Vedanta & Yoga and the traditions that emanate from this knowledge.
The group is managed by individuals with varied backgrounds, professions, and experience. Several initiatives related to Yoga and Vedanta are undertaken by the group each year. Swamiji has also developed the 'Visvamitra Kriya' - a special Yogic method intended to prove beneficial to all Sadhakas, providing them with a means to live a happy and harmonious life in accordance with the Yogic tradition.

Swami Ananda Saraswati
Swami Ananda Saraswati, disciple of Swami Dayananda Saraswati, has studied Vedanta and other scriptures. He has also practised Yoga and Meditation in different places. He spent valuable time in isolation in the sacred quietness of the lofty and holy Himalayas. He is the founder of Yoga Vidya International Group which is located in different parts of the globe and Vidya Vahini Trust, which is located at Uttarkashi, India close to the Himalayas.
Swamiji has authored more than 30 books in different languages. He is the founding Editor of 'Ama Vivek' a fortnightly socio-religious Newspaper in Odia Language and a columnist for many Daily Newspapers. He has been serving society by giving lectures on self-knowledge and taking Yoga Classes. He addresses corporate people on management under E+ Programme.
An Internationally certified Yoga Teacher Training course is being conducted by him in Chennai. He has travelled to different countries, such as, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Italy and Switzerland to spread Yoga Vidya.
